Ben is one of the newer members of the Barr Law Group team and his fresh approach to litigation makes him a standout. Since 2015, he’s successfully handled a wide variety of cases from simple contract disputes to complex securities and immigration litigation. Ben is a natural leader, both in the courtroom and throughout his career where he traveled the East Coast as a leadership consultant, coaching student leaders in leadership development, financial management, community relations and risk aversion.
Benjamin E. Novogroski joined Barr Law Group in September 2015 and practices primarily in litigation, handling a wide range of cases from simple contract disputes to complex securities and immigration litigation. Novogroski has even negotiated settlements with book publishers on behalf of authors. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and Albany Law School of Union University with a focus on litigation, municipal finance and corporate law.
Prior to joining Barr Law Group, Novogroski worked as a law clerk at the New York State Joint Commission of Public Ethics, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office and with the Minority Counsel’s Office at the New York State Assembly. He also traveled the East Coast on behalf of his fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau, as an Expansion & Leadership Consultant, coaching over 30 chapters in leadership development, financial management, community relations and risk aversion.
During his studies, Novogroski was also a member of the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology, serving on the editorial board as the Selections Editor. He was also chosen for the four-person student trial advocacy team competing against other law schools in the northeast and participated in Albany Law School’s Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy and Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trial Competitions. Ben was elected to the Student Bar Association all three years of school, ultimately serving as President of the SBA in his final year.
Very active within the Stowe community in which he was raised, Novogroski has served as a student aid at Stowe Middle School as well as a coach for 7th grade soccer and assistant coach of both boys and girls high school ice hockey teams and girls high school tennis. During his free time, Novogroski stays involved with Zeta Beta Tau serving on the international fraternity’s Board of Directors. He is an avid sports fan supporting UCF football and the Miami Dolphins. Novogroski also enjoys playing ice hockey, tennis, and golf.
